Hi 🙂  I’m a self-confessed book geek  from the Philippines.

This “geeky-ness” started back when I was in grade school (I honestly forgot what level or age it all started). My mom has this little pink bookshelf with random paperbacks and hardcovers. Like any other moms out there, she encouraged me into reading and its one of those things I’m actually grateful of from her intervention skills. Then my aunt sent me a copy of ……..

 

 

HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE! and thus begun my lifelong journey towards the magical world of books. So yeah I would say that the Harry Potter series ignited the fire within me and affected me with this great passion for reading.

What kind of books do you read?

            I am passionately in love with fantasy fiction but I am also into historical fiction, science fiction, coming-of-age, books with humor and sense and books with messed-up protagonists because for me, they are the strongest of characters, they are insightful and they make me understand others who struggle with life.

What books has been part of every fiber in your being?

            If you’re a reader, YOU DO NOT ASK THAT QUESTION! Because you know how hard it is but I’m going to mention some. HP series (of course!), Pride and Prejudice, The Shock of the Fall, Catcher in the Rye, The Chronicles of Narnia, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (just recently :D),  A Song of Ice and Fire, Looking for Alaska, The Alchemist, ABNKKBSNPLAKo?! (A Fillipino Book)  and the lists goes on and on.

Who’s your “AUTO-BUY-AUTO-READ” AUTHOR?      

            Soooo some of my favorites are JK Rowling, J.D. Salinger, C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, George R.R. Martin, John Green, Paulo Coelho, Rainbow Rowell, Lisa Genova, E. Lockhart, Bob Ong OKAAAAAAY that was a lot! 😀

What TV shows worsen your reading slump?

            Oh gosh… A LOT ACTUALLY! At the present I’m into: The Walking Dead, A Game of Thrones,  Bones, The Big Bang Theory, New Girl, Sherlock Holmes aand How I Met Your Mother (when it was still on) and House M.D. (until I finished the series).

Where is your favorite reading spot(s)?

Bed (as long as its comfy and in a secluded area) and near the beach especially during the afternoon when it’s not too hot already.

Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate?

ALL OF THE ABOVE (but i prefer ICED most of the time) 😀

What else do you obsess about?

I love taking photographs! But I am not an expert or professional, I just love the thought that I could immortalize a moment in one click and it’s there forever.  I really really really want to know more about photography so that I’d be able to capture moments if not perfectly, at least in its best form.  Also, I am obsess with traveling and I hope someday I’d be able to traverse the whole wide world *fingers crossed.

 So yeah, basically I started this blog because I love books, I love to talk about them, and I just need to have an outlet for my feelings every time a good book manages to touch my heart and soul. But this blog also contain some of my thoughts and photographs and some stuff. If you too like these things, then OHMYGOSH can we be friends? HAHA I mean GREAT! Soooo that’s it. Keep posted 😉
