A book published this year: All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

Publisher: Knopf

Published: January 6, 2015

Format owned: Paperback

Genre: Young-adult, Mental Issues, Contemporary

Theodore Finch is fascinated by death, and he constantly thinks of ways he might kill himself. But each time, something good, no matter how small, stops him.

Violet Markey lives for the future, counting the days until graduation, when she can escape her Indiana town and her aching grief in the wake of her sister’s recent death.

When Finch and Violet meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school, it’s unclear who saves whom. And when they pair up on a project to discover the “natural wonders” of their state, both Finch and Violet make more important discoveries: It’s only with Violet that Finch can be himself—a weird, funny, live-out-loud guy who’s not such a freak after all. And it’s only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet’s world grows, Finch’s begins to shrink.

Actually, I just finished this book like 3 days ago and I don’t know but I still haven’t completely moved on from it.

You see I’ve heard a lot of good things with this book so I prepared myself and didn’t expect much. But well, I’ve been anticipating this book for so long that I couldn’t just handle the thought that I may despise it. Aand I was sooo happy to say that YES I loved it! *sighs I’m just feeling all sorts of emotion right after reading the book that I literally didn’t move from my reading spot. I feel like I’ve said this word a couple of times in my other reviews but I’d say it again, this book is BITTERSWEET!

I’ll be posting a full review on it soon!

So in the meantime, you guys should probably head to the nearest bookstore at your place and grab this book. Or if it has been on your shelf for months already, I think you should pick it up now! Because, I’d like to know what your thoughts are and also I am still gathering my thoughts as I have been revising my review for ages now. 😀

That’s it for now, I hope you’re having a great day so far. Keep smiling and God bless! :*
